Shortlived

Site News

Seems my idea of posting faster SecondLife viewers was a rather shortlived project. The last few versions in a row haven’t compiled cleanly in Windows. Usually it complains about missing files, bad types, etc… stuff that would take a lot of work to fix. It obviously compiles for them, though, which is a bit strange… oh well.
For the moment I’ve removed the link to that page from the sidebar. If it starts working again I’ll put it back, and start releasing them.
Incidentally the Linux versions compile fine… if anyone actually uses those let me know and I can keep posting them.

Thanking the Thanker

Mae's Days, Site News

With the deed done, TERA thanked us publically for the donation on the front page of their site. They also wrote briefly about me and the Oblivion issue, which is actually more or less a virtual case of exactly what their charity exists to help.
So, I’d like to take this space to personally thank them (despite slight the risk of an infinite loop) both for thanking us, and for what they do in general, helping women be seen as equals to men in a clothing sense.

Mission complete

Site News

Since TERA is located in Canada, I had a Canadian counterpart make the donation for us. The amount to be donated, USD$60.63, converted into CAD$69.81 on the day of the donation, so that’s the amount on the reciept.
Speaking of reciept, the privacy-edited version has been scanned and uploaded for evidence. :) Much thanks goes to all you readers out there who helped make this possible.

And the winner is…

Site News

After a month of votes, we’ve arrived at a tie. I’ll cast the deciding vote for TERA, who will receive our first donation to charity. I’ll post a scan/screenshot as evidence when it’s done. :)
I don’t think I’ve mentioned this before, but the advertising donations is 50% of all advertising on all my sites, regardless of company or ad type or anything else.

Site Reorganization

Site News

As I’m sure people have noticed, I reorganized the site today. This is now the front page, and all the links originally on the front page are now in the sidebar. Some paths changed, however old paths should continue to work, they’re linked over to the new ones.
Also, I added links to my other sites, and that little Flash icon pops up a media player to listen to the radio right from your browser using Adobe/Macromedia Flash.
